ROTATIONS® for DogsA Balanced, Holistic Approach

Once you have selected a quality dog food, that’s all you need to feed, right? Despite what many dog food companies tell you, the answer is NO!

Dogs weren’t intended to get all of their nutrients from a single food. Just like all mammals, dogs are meant to thrive on a range of different foods obtaining the unique nutritional benefits from each. They are not intended to eat “only chicken” or “only lamb” or any other food item for most of their life. Changing a pets food provides the nutritional variety they need in order to thrive.

In addition to providing nutritional variety, rotating your pet’s food provides additional benefits:

Rotating your dog’s food can also help to avoid the development of allergies. In some extreme cases, just like a person, a dog can instantly be allergic to something; but in most cases, allergies build up over time. Why can a dog eat a chicken recipe for years and then all of a sudden develop a chicken allergy? The same is true of many people and their allergies to glutens.

The answer is often quite simple; eating the same food day in and day out for an extended period of time often leads to improper nutrition and an intolerance to the ingredients that are causing this imbalance. It is no coincidence that the most common allergies in dogs are the most common ingredients found in pet food.

Can you imagine eating the same food, day in and day out, for years? Providing your pet with a variety of recipes helps keep them interested in their daily meals instead of adding unhealthy additives or treats to get them to eat.

Variety

Complementary Ingredients

Each individual ROTATIONS® recipe stands on its own as a meat first, all natural, nutritionally complete diet. When you combine all of our recipes in our rotational feeding approach, our products stand alone in performance and results.

Unlike other pet foods that only change the protein source in their different flavors, ROTATIONS uses a broad base of different ingredients across each of our three formulas to avoid oversaturation and provide pets with a broader, more complete nutrient panel across the system as a whole.

Many foods in the same groups provide different nutritional benefits (for example, apples are an excellent source of fiber while oranges are renowned for vitamin C, but both are fruits), so we incorporate variety in all the food groups, rather than just changing the protein source.

For example, we include cranberries in our lamb formula as a natural source of vitamin C and potassium. In our chicken formula, we incorporate blueberries instead, to provide a natural boost of antioxidants. Since all of our recipes are formulated with even levels of diverse nutrients, your pet receives a wider variety of nutrients that work together to create a complete, healthy diet, without the kind of digestive upset that can occur by changing formulas that aren’t perfectly balanced with one another.

Nutrition

ROTATIONS® uses highly digestible, holistic pet food ingredients, expertly blended with fibers, proteins, fats, and vitamins to ensure a balanced dietary alternative that is guaranteed to provide your pet with complementary benefits. Our holistic pet food recipes are formulated to work together to be easily absorbed, delivering powerful components of optimal nutrition directly to your pet’s digestive system. What’s more, because the rotating formulas are designed to support one another, and the ratios of proteins, fats and carbohydrates remain the same from recipe to recipe, they wont upset your pet’s stomach.

Overall Health

Proteins and amino acids are the building blocks of pet health helping the pet to repair or replace tissue, enzymes, hormones, antibodies and more. The amino acids that comprise proteins are divided into two groups, essential and non essential.

Essential amino acids are ones that cannot be synthesized by a pets body and therefore must be supplied to your pet through their diet. Thus all the protein in our recipes comes from our lean meat, poultry and fish sources. These ingredients ensures the proteins your dog receives from our diets contain the essential amino acids they need to thrive.

By changing the proteins from formula to formula, we are also able to provide an array of essential nutrients that cover a broad spectrum of nutritional requirements, from iron-rich lamb to fish full of good fatty acids. We never artificially inflate proteins by adding useless fillers like corn, wheat, or soy that are comprised of mostly non essential amino acids for your pet making them wasted calories.
